Qualified as an aircraft fitter working on airframes and engines for Puma helicopters, Louis has been involved with firearms since the age of sixteen. Along with Mike Potgieter they were the first importers of PCP air rifles in 2001, importing the Air Arms range of products initially to cater to the schools shooting and field target needs.
Trading under the name Air Arms Target Sport, Louis was approached by FX to lead the agency in until 2018. He also had the Air Arms agency as well as a number of other agencies including Kalibrgun, Theoben, Rapid Air Weapons, Brocock (older generation) Anschutz (open agency) and Steyr (open Agency)

Louis works on most reputable PCP brands and caries a large stock of spares.

He prefers not to work on Springers, especially the Chinese products and old Springers as spares are always a problem.

Service and repair rates vary from R1250 to around R2000 depending on the make, model, spares and time required. (Specialised spares are subject to the RRP of the agents.)
